No matter your level of play, we have a way for you to play – every day. From open play to clinics to ladders to learn to play lesson series, our 20 courts offer something for everyone from dawn to well past dusk.
Everyone is welcome to play at The Palms! Members do enjoy lower rates and longer advance booking windows. If you plan to play fairly often, membership might be a good fit for you.
At The Palms, we recognize that sometimes members want to play only with others at their level, keeping a sharp eye on the score. And sometimes, those same members are craving a more relaxed game with friends, or friends they haven’t met yet. Never fear. We have options! No matter your preference, open play at The Palms is a structured experience with no more than 6 players per court, ensuring that everyone gets a ton of court time!
Courts are, yes, OPEN! Social open play sessions are a place to mix it up, meet new people and have some fun. All levels of players are welcome to join social open play sessions. Expect a mix of players and skills. TL;DR: If you prioritize winning over fun, social open play may not be your best fit. 🙂
From 2.0 to pro, courts are organized by rating, and members must have the appropriate rating to join in the competition. Level-based open play offers courts for all levels.

Grab a group of friends, reserve a court and play your hearts out. It’s that simple. Court reservations are available every day of the week at The Palms with reservations offered in all of our day segments: Early Bird, Daytime, Primetime and Night Owl. Up to 8 players can play within a court reservation.
So, you might ask, what does a court reservation cost? What does open play cost? Does pricing change based on the time of the day? We have answers!

Open play is structured and limited to 6 players/court to ensure everyone gets court time. Members may make court reservations 7-days in advance, and they can have 4 court reservations on the books at any time. Members may reserve as many open play sessions as they would like, with 7-day advance reservations. Non-members may reserve courts or open play 48-hours in advance. Court reservations are for up to 8 players. Minimum charge of 4 persons per court reservation. Please note that our Sunday schedule does not include a primetime segment. Daytime is simply 9 am – 9 pm on Sundays.

Our four-week Beginner Series is a small group lesson series taught by coaches who are hand-picked to teach people who are just starting their pickleball journey. Classes are held at various times of the day and days of the week to ensure everyone can learn to play.
Pickleball is a sport for all ages! Juniors (we affectionately call them sprouts) have their own programs at The Palms, with junior clinics, camps and more for kids ages 5 to 17. Open play for adults is always offered simultaneously, meaning parents can hit the courts themselves while the kids learn.
Or, how about a family pickleball night? Pickleball is also one of the few sports that parents can play with their kids, vs. simply watching from the sidelines. How cool is that? Join us for one of our family play days and meet other local pickleball-playing parents and kids.
Looking to move from beginner to intermediate? Maybe you’d like to sharpen your serve? Or perhaps you need to elevate your tournament play?
We’ve designed our clinic series to support players as they progress from beginners all the way to 5.0+ super pros. So, no matter where you are today, we have a learning opportunity for you. Our robust schedule has three tiers, with classes building progressive skills:

Pickleball greatness? Sounds good, right? Sign up for a learning session with one of our coaches. Wherever you are in your pickleball journey, our friendly and knowledgeable staff can help you level up. Individual and small group coaching sessions are available every day.
No one says you have to share. If you learn best in a one-on-one environment, private lessons may be the perfect solution for your pickleball improvement plans. Whether you are looking to learn to play or hone specific skills, individual learning is a great way to build confidence.

You don’t have to be a 5.0* to enjoy a little friendly (or fierce) competition. Join one of our weekly level-based leagues to test your skills, create new friendships and enjoy some after-match victory drinks in the Mainstay Provisions at The Palms café. Leagues are offered seasonally and are designed for consistent, competitive play.
*At The Palms we have a “Palms rating system” that we also use to determine the appropriate level league for every individual player. We are also happy to provide players with a DUPR rating, or simply use their existing DUPR rating if they have one. Learn More.
Pickleball is social. It’s fun! And it is also competitive. At The Palms, we have events that celebrate every aspect of this game we all love. Join us for a social mixer and make new friends while playing some pickle. Come to a DJ-fueled night of open play and add some dance steps to your kitchen footwork. Or, sign up for an in-house tournament and test your skills against other Palms People.
Would you love to see your name added to our “Wall of Champions?” Of course you would! Sign up for a tournament and you could find yourself boasting on Instagram one day soon! Tournaments at the center will be hosted by The Palms and members will always have priority for registration.
