Funny name. What’s the story?
Palm trees = warm, relaxing destinations. But hey, there’s no need for a boarding pass, palm trees can be found in Seattle too. One hardy grove can be discovered right on the land where Pickle at the Palms is rising. And did you know that palm trees and pickleball have a lot in common?
Expand for Full Story +
Palm trees are thought to be symbols of victory, tranquility, inner strength and resilience, all feelings that can easily be attributed to a challenging pickleball match, or to the mindset of improving your game. Not to mention that these frond-forward trees conjure up happy feelings and a sunny, inviting desert vibe - something many Seattleites find themselves craving each winter. A little bit quirky and a whole lot of fun, the name Pickle at the Palms reflects this addictive game we all love, while speaking to the place we are committed to creating: a vibrant community hub that brings people together. Pickle at the Palms is a warm breeze that melts the dreaded Seattle Freeze.
