Come play pickleball with The Palms as we celebrate Discover Queen Anne Day

The Overall Event

On June 13th, in collaboration with the Queen Anne Historical Society and the Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce, the Queen Anne Community Council is kicking off the first annual Discover Queen Anne Day. Discover Queen Anne Day will feature a series of guided walking tours highlighting historic and cultural sites and pop-up experiences being held all around the top of the hill, brought to you by local businesses. Look for fun mini-events such as yoga in the park, oyster shucking at Aluel Cellars, music on the Ave, dog adoptions and yes, pickleball play from us, Pickle at the Palms!

What is The Palms offering at the event? FREE Open Play + FREE Learn to Play

Pickle at the Palms will be located in the heart of Queen Anne’s retail district on W. Crockett Street in front of Menchies. The street will be closed for the event and instead of traffic you’ll find two pickleball courts and a Dink Net too!

What’s happening:

FREE open play on two street courts – 11 am to 3 pm

A FREE learn to play session from 11:30 am – 12 noon

Dink Net fun – how long can you dink?

Giant Pickle Pong! It’s a thing. Come find out.

Family-friendly with fun for everyone. 

The Palms pop-up tent will be staffed and on-site with information about memberships, construction progress, opening plans and more. In addition, our Palms Partners MoveMend will also be with us, offering pickleball readiness training info as well as more fun contests!
