The Palms is open daily from 7 am to 11 pm. 20 courts and 16 hours a day to play on them. Come on down!
Yes! The Palms has its own parking lot with over 50 stalls. Parking is free. Additional parking is available on the surrounding streets (and no worries, no meters in Interbay).
No. Everyone is welcome to play at The Palms. Members enjoy lower prices and advance booking windows in addition to other benefits. Check out our membership page for more information.
Members at The Palms pay a low annual fee and then enjoy priority access to court, open play and programming reservations as well as lower cost bookings. Plus, members can take advantage of special offers with Palms Partners. Learn more on our membership page.
We’d love to meet your friends! Non-members are always welcome at The Palms and can come as often as they would like. They’ll simply pay a non-member rate when they join you on the courts, for an event, a league or at a clinic. If your friend is joining you for a court reservation, you’ll be able to invite them directly. For any other programming (such as open play or a clinic) they’ll need to register themselves. Easy peasy.
We do not have locker rooms, but we do have restrooms on every level, two private shower rooms for pre-work primping, and carabiners for backpacks and bags along the courts.
Yes! We have private shower rooms that provide space for both showering and getting ready to go to the office. Remember to bring your towel.
Pickle at the Palms is a fully conditioned pickleball center, built from the ground-up. This means that our heating and cooling systems were specifically designed and built to keep players cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Excellent! You’ve come to the right place. Our Beginner Series is a great way to set yourself up for success. This four-week session includes weekly 1.5 hour lessons, with coaches specifically chosen to work with people who are new to the sport. Check out our Learn to Play section for tips and a pickleball lingo primer too.
The Palms offers a range of paddles to rent, suitable for people just getting started in the sport to those who are dreaming of playing in the PPA tour. And yes, we have pickleballs too.
Social open play means that the courts are, yes, OPEN! Courts designated for social play are open for all levels of players to play together. For level-based open play, courts are organized by rating, and members must have the appropriate rating to join in the competition. Level-based open play offers courts for all levels.

Members can make a court reservation 7 days in advance, and members can have up to 4 court reservations on the books at any time. Learn more at Ways to Play.
PlayByPoint is our software partner for Pickle at the Palms. When you become a member of The Palms, you’ll click a link on our membership page that will take you to a Palms PlayByPoint page.
You can use your desktop/laptop computer to create a PlayByPoint profile, or you can download The Palms app by visiting the Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iPhones). Once you create a profile you’ll be able to purchase your membership. Later this summer you’ll be able to use PlayByPoint to book court reservations, open play, leagues and more!
PlaySight is a smart court technology that we have integrated into all of our courts. Think of PlaySight as a support system to help you improve your game. Technology includes on-court cameras and replay systems, video analysis tools and AI-supported learning tools.
While we don’t have a minimum age requirement, we’ve found that kids around the age of 5-6 enjoy playing with a 10-and-under ball (oversized, softer balls). Ask us about connecting young players with pickleball.
We’ve got your Victory Drinks covered, not to worry. The café has beer, wine and bubbles – with options hand-selected by the Mainstay Provisions team. Get ready to be refreshed!
Absolutely! We’d love to see you and the good folks at Mainstay will make you a fabulous sandwich and/or pour you a most excellent beer. Maybe you’ll decide to play while you are here. (No pressure though!)
Watchers are most welcome in our second floor Loft or in the Mainstay Provisions at The Palms café on the third floor. But be warned, you might be tempted to play!
The café is open from 7 am to 8 pm, Sunday-Thursday and on Friday and Saturdays til 10 pm. Grab-and-go specialties are still available during the few hours when the courts are open, but the café is not staffed.
